Captain Nemo Necklace and Earrings
One of the most famous captains on the high seas, Captain Nemo is the muse for this design. His prized ship, the Nautilus, is represented by the steampunk style of the chain in various metals, gears and industrial pieces. Swirled blue glass beads mimic water and the story is completed with a nautilus shell, a turtle and of course the cephalopod that attacks the vesile in the story.
The design starts with a adjustable length (27” – 30”) of chain in steampunk fashion: gears of various metals, industrial pieces and basic loops. Natural shell is centered in some of the chain links and those are interspersed with blue swirled glass beads to mimic water. The feature element of the necklace is a 1.75” x 2.5” octopus with rhinestone eyes. A silver nautilus and turtle bead are also on the piece to reference their parts in the story. The matching earrings hang a 2.25” from the nickel-free ear hooks. The perfect design to celebrate this classic sci-fi story while donning a trendy steampunk vibe.

All designs are mostly created using natural and semi-precious materials. In cases where weight is a concern, simulated items are used. Designs are one-of-a-kind or in the case of "series" of a design, all will have some aspect that will differentiate from others in the series. Any series will be limited and then will not be recreated unless specifically requested by the buyer.
